Welcome Members to our new season
As the Winter season is drawing to a close, our new summer season will soon be here on April 1st. We are delighted with the many renewed memberships for 2019 and also all the brand new members who have joined us and we hope you are all enjoying the start of your membership at the club.
Apologies in advance for the slightly long email, but we wanted to give out some information that will be relevant to most of you and will be worth the read ahead of the year.
All Winter Competitions are reaching their final stages and in March we will see our winners of the Mens Winter Pairs League, Mens Singles Matchplay, Mens Winter League Singles and Ladies Winter League Eclectic all crowned ahead of our full summer schedule.
Our intention will be to send out an email at the start of every month, notifying all members of the competitions and events that are approaching and how to get involved. The first of which will be sent at the start of March and will include all the competitions for April.
The next few paragraphs might not apply to every member but please read through and contact us with any queries you may have where applicable.
If you are a new member to the golf club and/or a golfer without a handicap and want to know more about getting involved in this year’s competitions, please send an email to Bob and Chris so that we can arrange this for you.
For those who are renewed members and/or competitive golfers with a handicap already, then please see the noticeboard in the changing rooms at the Bistro for information on suggested competitions for the 2019 season.
Should there be sufficient interest in any or all of these competitions, we will hope to add them to the current schedule for the upcoming season.
All members who have renewed but have a non-competitive handicap since the turn of the year have already been emailed after re-joining explaining what they need to do to get their handicap competitive again. If you have not received this email or need any assistance with this, please contact Bob and Chris, and we will help you with that.
If you have any queries over your handicap in any way, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
