Club Championship Rules

Ingleby Barwick Golf Academy Club Championship Medal Competition 

This is a 18 hole medal competition, played from the white (Mens) or red (Ladies) tees.
Use course handicap table for Men’s white 18 holes or Ladies red 18 holes to obtain course handicap.
Playing handicap will be 95% of your course handicap for the Silver Medal competition. 

Only members who have taken part in and completed a minimum of 3 of the Men’s or Ladies Mixed 9 or 18 hole competitions that are listed under Men’s / Ladies competitions on the calendar during the current season, (April – September) will be allowed to compete for prizes in The Club Championship.  The Summer League will count as one competition.

In addition to this, new members will be eligible to compete in and win competitions if they have a valid handicap from a previous golf club or have submitted three cards (54holes) for handicap verification. They must also meet the criteria aforementioned to compete for prizes in the Club Championship.

The club championships are played as 2 competitions, the club champion is the player with the lowest gross score and the Silver medal winner is the player with the lowest nett score.
The club champion can’t win the silver medal competition as well.

This is a handicap qualifying competition

The Club Championship Winner & Runner Up will be the 2 players with the lowest gross scores.
The Silver Medal winner & runner up will be the 2 players with the lowest nett scores.

This competition will be by draw only, the tee times will be from 08:30 – 10:00, depending on the number of entrants, the closing date will be the Thursday before the competition date and a start sheet will be published.

Late competition entries could be accepted if there is space on the start sheet.
