Good Afternoon
Further to the earlier post:
Durham County Golf Union Secretary Jonathan Ward has undertaken a fundraising challenge that will see him play 44 holes on the 44 Durham County courses all in one day.
He will complete this on Father’s Day Sunday June 20th.
His efforts will see him raise funds for the Charity “If U Care Share Foundation,” which works to prevent suicide and promote mental health and well being, in memory of two Durham golfers.
His journey starts at 5am at our very own Ingleby Barwick Golf Academy, where he will play the 9th hole.
I feel that as members we should offer up a donation of £50 to this very worthwhile cause and I hope you will see fit to support me in this.
The payment has been made by Sean Seaman earlier today on our behalf.
