Ladies Section

Welcome from Kay Williamson, IBGA Lady Captain 2020

A big thanks to Liz Musto our outgoing Lady Captain. We all had an enjoyable year thanks to her hard work and commitment, especially the fundraising efforts for the SNAPS (Special Needs Activities with Parental Support) Charity.
This year the chosen Captains Charity is RMHC (Ronald McDonald House Charity) and I’m sure IBGA Ladies Section (small as we are!) will once again rise to the occasion with their enthusiasm and support.
I will endeavour to make 2020 as enjoyable as last year although the start to this new decade weather wise has limited practice for the new season. I’m delighted Christine Shutt agreed to join me as Vice Captain.
It would be good if our Section could grow our ladies membership in 2020 as they are assured a warm and welcoming reception whatever their age or ability.
Here’s hoping everyone has great golfing this year with handicaps tumbling all round. Golf is an unusual game. When you have a good day you can’t wait to get back out there, and when you have a bad day, you can’t wait to get back out there!… See you on the Course.
