    Gents,
This year’s Gents Club Championship will take place on Saturday August 7 with a random draw starting at 08:30. The groups will be in 2, 3 or 4 between 08:30 and 10:00 only – no afternoon starts.

The competition is open to gents with a handicap index, and have played in at least 3 qualifying competitions – namely any three of Tuesday Stablefords, Sunday Gents Medal competitions, or any three of Gents Summer League. (So, it is possible that you didn’t have a handicap index at the start of the competitions, but played in sufficient competitions to gain your first handicap index, so could qualify to enter.)

It is an 18-hole competition played off the WHITE tees, with the overall winner being the player with the lowest gross score. There is a secondary competition, the Silver Medal, with prize vouchers for the winner (and runner-up) with the lowest nett score (ie gross score minus handicap allowance).

Entry fee is £4, preferably by bank transfer (ref: Club Champ)
    Sort Code: 40-34-45
    Account No: 21116495

    Gents,
Here’s who I have for Saturday’s Club Championship. An 18-hole medal competition off the white tees starting at 08:30. Last year’s winner, Covid-19, is not entered but watching from the gallery.
The draw will be made shortly after the closing time for entries on Thursday (12:00).
    Ally Chadwick
    Brian Cohen
    Brian Connelly
    Brian Settle
    David Willox
    Gary Beddard
    Graham Hillier
    John Newell
    John Russell
    Kenneth Lynd
    Paul Musgrave
    Peter Simpkins
    Phil Stokes
    Tom Ward

The main competition is a straightforward gross score, with the Silver Medal contest based on nett score after handicap index is deducted – another player other than the overall winner will win the Silver Medal contest

    Kind Regards,

    Ed Stefaniuk
